You don’t feel like you’re enough.
If this is a common theme in your life, it’s not your fault. Something in your world triggered a stress response, making you feel more vulnerable.
Maybe it was a recent loss or a difficult transition (work, school, or home life).
Or you’ve been facing criticism that’s deflated your self-esteem and left you disconnected from yourself.
Whatever it is, you’ve noticed changes in your relationship with food and preoccupation with your physical appearance.
Finding freedom…
To positively change your relationship with food and yourself, we’ll take a holistic approach focusing on mental health and nutrition.
This starts with a screening to determine where you are in your eating disorder (ED) recovery. If outpatient care is appropriate, I’ll help you find a registered dietician specializing in eating disorders.
We’ll then use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help you cope over the long term. You’ll learn strategies through mindfulness and distress tolerance… and build your interpersonal and emotional regulation skills.
Reclaim your voice!
When you understand the psychology behind your ED, you will feel more empowered.
You will be able to identify the reasons behind your behaviors, distinguish emotional from physical hunger cues, and develop compassion for yourself.
Wisdom is the emotional nourishment you need!
